People usually do not believe in phenomena like déjà vu, miracles, wishes coming true and so on unless it actually happens to them. Many miraculous events, when analyzed by human minds, seem illogical and impossible. But suddenly one day, someone`s dreams come true or some critically ill patient miraculously recovers. Déjà vu happens when a situation is encountered! If you are a witness to these emotions or phenomena of life, you will certainly have a firm belief and faith in life.

Logic Vs Faith

Logic is basically reliable confirmation of truth. It has proof and reasoning behind it. It is not based on beliefs or faith but truly based on research and proof. It is the study of reason and a rational way of drawing conclusions. Faith on the other hand, is more about what a person feels in his gut, what he desperately hopes for and believes in. Faith is a belief with strong convictions, strong enough to carry you through the most desperate times. On many occasions, we do not know what the truth is or what exactly is happening around us. We are in a soup and do not understand what is correct.

Faith and hope can come to our rescue and show us the way. These are desperate times when logic fails. Think of a situation where a girl is critically ill and doctors have given up all hope. Her parents know that the situation is critical and all logical deductions tell them that they may lose their daughter. But if parents have hope and strong faith, if they can hold on to something strong emotionally, miracles do happen.

Time and again it has been proven that if you believe in something strongly, chances are you will realize your dreams As Henry Ford says, “If you think you can do it or if you think you cannot do it, chances are, you are right”. It totally depends on your belief and willpower. If you have the faith and confidence in yourself, logic might tell you otherwise, but chances are, things will happen your way! Just like a Trapeze artist needs to have full faith and belief that his fellow artists will be there for him, catch him and swing him appropriately, only then does he start the show. Logic does not prevail under such circumstances.

At the same time, completely relying on miracles or your strong beliefs without working hard is not going to reap benefits. Like, if you are entering a dance competition, it helps to have faith and confidence in yourself. But logic says you need to work hard to win it. You cannot just rely on your faith alone. Faith helps in boosting your morale and makes you work harder towards your goals.

Walking on the tight rope of logic and faith

Faith helps you tide over difficult times and gives you the confidence and hope that you need desperately. Relying on it completely and defying logic at all stages, might backfire. There needs to a fine balance between both to achieve your goals, reach the stars and realize your dreams!

Upon waking, many people consider the coming day with trepidation. Because of the natural human tendency to focus on what we fear or dislike, it is easy to unwittingly send a message of unease into the future that negatively impacts the quality of your day. However, while our lives are busy and frequently replete with challenges, they are also rich with joy and experiences worth savoring. We can attract this natural bliss into our lives by starting each day with a message of love. When you send love ahead to your day, that love will manifest itself in your interpersonal interactions, your professional endeavors, and your domestic duties. Tasks and circumstances once made trying by your own anxiety are transformed by your love, and you will find yourself approaching life’s subtle nuances with great affection.

Each morning, when you have cast off the fog of sleep, take several deep, grounding breaths and reaffirm the love you have for yourself. Speaking a loving, self-directed blessing aloud enables you to access and awaken the reservoir of tenderness in your soul. Before you leave the comfortable warmth of your bed, be sure to tell the universe that you are eager and ready to receive the blessings it has set aside for you. Then as you prepare to meet the day, visualize yourself first saturated by and then surrounded with a warm and soft loving light. Gradually widen the circle of this light until you are able to send it ahead into your future. If you are commuting to work, send love to the roads upon which you will drive, your fellow commuters, and your parking space. If you have colleagues who arrive at your workplace before you, send them love. Likewise, a day spent being a parent or addressing household chores can benefit from the sentiment that precedes you. Sending love ahead to everyone you will meet and everything you will do can ensure that your day is suffused with grace.

If you have difficulty sending love to those situations and individuals you deem particularly frustrating, consider that the warmth and tenderness you project can change your life for the better. Each morning, in sending this love, you will exercise your power to control the ambiance of your existence and to color your day with positivity.

The universe is always offering us signs to help us, we just need to slow down and pay attention.

The universe can often relay messages to us through signs. Often, we are too busy to stop and consider what may or may not be a sign. We may ask the universe for guidance, yet fail to recognize the sign it sends us in response. Learning the subtle language of signs can help you interpret the guidance the universe sends your way. We all have been blessed with a connection that allows the universe to communicate directly with us. To be able to understand the information relayed over that connection, however, it is necessary that we learn to pay attention and know what to look for.

To see and correctly interpret a sign, you must open your heart and mind to the universe and invite its guidance into your life. Many of us are blind to the signs we receive because we expect angels or our spirit guides to speak to us in a booming voice and tell us exactly what we need to hear. But signs are usually of this earth and therefore easier to encounter. A song lodged in your mind or a number that seems to pop up everywhere you look after you’ve asked the universe for guidance can both be signs. Signs may come through the animal world, from strangers, or jump out of a book in the form of an insightful passage. A sign may be a direct answer to one of your questions. Other signs may point you in the right direction, warn of impending difficulties, or show you a different way. If you want the universe to send you a sign, tell it that you are ready and willing to accept its guidance.

Not everything you hear or see will be a sign. If you are receptive and patient, however, the signs you receive will become easier to recognize. It is important to listen to your intuition. A sign can mean many things to different people, and only you can decipher a sign’s meaning is for you. As you practice reading the signs and following their guidance, the universe will send more of them your way.

Have you ever gotten out of the driver’s seat and allowed your higher self to take over?

Have you ever gotten out of your own way and surrendered to your own higher power?

Have you ever let go of your lower self – your human self – your ego – your conscious mind and allowed your higher self – your soul – your divine spirit to take the reins?

If so – how did it feel?

What was different?

When I sit down to write each day, I never know what is going to come out.

As much as I can control it, I resist planning. It overwhelms me, and I begin to feel boxed in. I feel that if I plan, my higher self and divine spirit won’t be free to show up and guide me along my path.

And because of this natural resistance to planning, I am able to write without any preconceived ideas about what “should” be written, or what “must” be written. It is what it is. And I have faith that my higher self and the universe will come together and type what most needs to be written at that particular moment. What my soul feels that you (and me) need to hear the most.

So before I begin writing, I take a few deep breaths, light a candle, put on some soothing music, and wait. Sometimes the words start flowing immediately, and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes I start writing – thinking that it is my higher self driving only to find out that my ego jumped in and took over. So I start again. I know that my higher self is back in control when I am filled with love and joy and faith and a knowing that only my pure soul could show me.

It’s so important to give your higher self a voice.

It’s absolutely crucial that we clear space in our lives for this voice – that we make time to listen to what it is telling us.

And you don’t have to be writing to have your pure soul speak to you – through you. You could be creating anything or creating nothing when it happens. You could be painting and notice a moment where the brush seemed to be moving on its own – where you felt that pure love. You could be alone with your thoughts when you notice a new voice – a wise, loving voice that is guiding you toward your path.

When you hear this voice (or feel it, as we sometimes do), you will immediately take notice. It can speak quietly though, which is why it’s so important to be still and slow down. You definitely don’t want to miss out on its wisdom.

When you do take notice, you’ll find yourself sitting up straighter and breathing more fully. Your higher self has all of the answers. And it’s such a gift that we all have access to this part of ourselves. We only need to learn how to listen to it. Our higher self is pure love, and the more we can let this part of ourselves guide our lives, the more open and awakened we become.

Write them down. Be careful not to censor them. And try not to judge them.

Just be open to hearing them.

Starting a dialog with your higher self is the first step toward living a life filled with possibility, openness, and pure love.
