Universal Messages

Universal Messages

dailyom.com

The universe is always offering us signs to help us, we just need to slow down and pay attention.

The universe can often relay messages to us through signs. Often, we are too busy to stop and consider what may or may not be a sign. We may ask the universe for guidance, yet fail to recognize the sign it sends us in response. Learning the subtle language of signs can help you interpret the guidance the universe sends your way. We all have been blessed with a connection that allows the universe to communicate directly with us. To be able to understand the information relayed over that connection, however, it is necessary that we learn to pay attention and know what to look for.

To see and correctly interpret a sign, you must open your heart and mind to the universe and invite its guidance into your life. Many of us are blind to the signs we receive because we expect angels or our spirit guides to speak to us in a booming voice and tell us exactly what we need to hear. But signs are usually of this earth and therefore easier to encounter. A song lodged in your mind or a number that seems to pop up everywhere you look after you’ve asked the universe for guidance can both be signs. Signs may come through the animal world, from strangers, or jump out of a book in the form of an insightful passage. A sign may be a direct answer to one of your questions. Other signs may point you in the right direction, warn of impending difficulties, or show you a different way. If you want the universe to send you a sign, tell it that you are ready and willing to accept its guidance.

Not everything you hear or see will be a sign. If you are receptive and patient, however, the signs you receive will become easier to recognize. It is important to listen to your intuition. A sign can mean many things to different people, and only you can decipher a sign’s meaning is for you. As you practice reading the signs and following their guidance, the universe will send more of them your way.

Your Higher Self

Your Higher Self

by Jodi Chapman

Have you ever gotten out of the driver’s seat and allowed your higher self to take over?

Have you ever gotten out of your own way and surrendered to your own higher power?

Have you ever let go of your lower self – your human self – your ego – your conscious mind and allowed your higher self – your soul – your divine spirit to take the reins?

If so – how did it feel?

What was different?

When I sit down to write each day, I never know what is going to come out.

As much as I can control it, I resist planning. It overwhelms me, and I begin to feel boxed in. I feel that if I plan, my higher self and divine spirit won’t be free to show up and guide me along my path.

And because of this natural resistance to planning, I am able to write without any preconceived ideas about what “should” be written, or what “must” be written. It is what it is. And I have faith that my higher self and the universe will come together and type what most needs to be written at that particular moment. What my soul feels that you (and me) need to hear the most.

So before I begin writing, I take a few deep breaths, light a candle, put on some soothing music, and wait. Sometimes the words start flowing immediately, and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes I start writing – thinking that it is my higher self driving only to find out that my ego jumped in and took over. So I start again. I know that my higher self is back in control when I am filled with love and joy and faith and a knowing that only my pure soul could show me.

It’s so important to give your higher self a voice.

It’s absolutely crucial that we clear space in our lives for this voice – that we make time to listen to what it is telling us.

And you don’t have to be writing to have your pure soul speak to you – through you. You could be creating anything or creating nothing when it happens. You could be painting and notice a moment where the brush seemed to be moving on its own – where you felt that pure love. You could be alone with your thoughts when you notice a new voice – a wise, loving voice that is guiding you toward your path.

When you hear this voice (or feel it, as we sometimes do), you will immediately take notice. It can speak quietly though, which is why it’s so important to be still and slow down. You definitely don’t want to miss out on its wisdom.

When you do take notice, you’ll find yourself sitting up straighter and breathing more fully. Your higher self has all of the answers. And it’s such a gift that we all have access to this part of ourselves. We only need to learn how to listen to it. Our higher self is pure love, and the more we can let this part of ourselves guide our lives, the more open and awakened we become.

What does your higher self want you to know?

If you ask this question, listen carefully to the answers that come.

Write them down. Be careful not to censor them. And try not to judge them.

Just be open to hearing them.

Starting a dialog with your higher self is the first step toward living a life filled with possibility, openness, and pure love.

What If You Looked At Life Through The Prism of Pure

What If You Looked At Life Through The Prism of Pure Love?

By Jim Fargiano

Jimfargiano.com

Who would you blame for your shortcomings? The answer is, "No one," because you would know that it is okay to fail without feeling penalized by being too hard on yourself. For that matter, when we live life in a state of purity, there would be nobody ridiculing you for not living up to some created interpretation of what is right. Instead, you would find that other people would be helping you to achieve your ultimate potential.

"Potential" is a word that can be a hindrance to your overall success. It is something that puts pressure on you to deliver every aspect of your existence in a perfect way. Subsequently, we find that it becomes a hardship for many people to move towards what may be unreasonable expectations. If love replaces this pressure, then ultimately you become awash with the amorous vibrations of God and the Kingdom of Angels. When you look at life in a loving light, you automatically contain your anger in situations. This plausibly leads you, as well as many others, not to engage in sniping or negative ways. Peace replaces bravado and conceit.

Love can cause healings on many levels, in many areas of your life. It should not be hard for you to receive, nor for you to give. Some days, it might feel that way, but the reality is that love is an inborn condition. It requires no thinking or preparation. It comes from the Higher Source, thereby allowing you to feel it at anytime. The shame of it--at least from Spirit's perspective--is that a lot of people turn down the opportunity to embrace true love when it is directly placed on your path. There are some of you who have a knack for keeping yourself in stuck situations; perhaps even to be a slave to your addictions or your enabling of others. This is when you need to do what everyone needs to do; trust that the world around you is ripe with angels and people who want to endow you with all the greatness you deserve.

Yes, you do deserve greatness. Some of you saw those words and automatically went into a, "Not me" mentality. Why give away your soul's strength? Why give away the strength of God and His infinite group of angelic helpers? You do deserve to reap the rewards of love and abundance. It should be abounding around you all the time; not just when you okay it as a treat. We leave you with a cart full of confidence, a ship filled with the impressions of a love that you cannot deny. Share it freely and move towards it whenever it is prudent. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Moving From Fear to Love

A Message From Spirit:

Moving From Fear to Love

By Karen Hager

fogcitypsychic.com.

Before I connect with a client on the phone, I sit in meditation for a few minutes. Very often, I'll receive guidance from Spirit about what needs to be communicated to that person. Last week, I got a very clear message for my client ... with the understanding that I was also meant to share this message with all of you.

Here's what I received:

"If you will just breathe, it will come to you. You don't need to pull it toward you ... that's working too hard. This is a time when you must embrace the grace of every moment, and express your gratitude for what is now."

This message has tremendous resonance for me personally, and my sense is that it will be useful for many of us during this time of shift and transformation. When we are afraid, we hang on more tightly, clutch at what we have, especially when we feel it might be taken away from us.

Once we make the shift to love, we can open our hands ... open our hearts ... and allow ourselves to receive what we need and let go of what no longer serves us.

I’ve talked with a lot of people in the last week who are afraid that if they don’t scramble, grab, clutch at opportunities, crush the competition, get out in front … all will be lost.

They may feel like they're watching life as they wanted it to be slip away from them ... and all their hopes are vanishing in the rear view mirror.

This is an illusion.

It's true that everything is changing now, and we're being called to adjust to a "new normal" instead of trying to hang on until the "old normal" reasserts itself. It won't.

Embracing the grace of every moment, expressing gratitude for what is now, is not easy. It requires being mindful of exactly who you are in this moment ... not as you were in the past or hope to be in the future, or could have been if things had only gone your way. Being aware of who you are in this precise moment, and being grateful for moment, opens you up to gifts you might not even notice otherwise.

Fear tells us to hold on tighter, ferociously guard what little we have in case someone tries to take it away. Fear brings all the light and air and possibility in the world down to a dark, desperate pinpoint focus.

Love invites us to relax our death-grip, give freely from what we have so there is space to be filled with more good things. Love lifts our head from that desperate, narrow focus, and opens our senses so we can breathe the air, see the light.

I often say that shifting your perspective from fear to love doesn’t make a lousy situation any less lousy. But all that fear-based scrambling leads you right back to where you started … stuck, paralyzed, miserable. And love invites opportunity, welcomes change, embraces new partnerships, new horizons.

Make the shift … and welcome choices, chances, hope.
