The Divine Marriage

The Divine Marriage

by Gregg Braden ©

There are beautiful and wild forces within us. - St Francis of Asisi

Behind the existence of all matter is a conscious and intelligent mind - this mind is the matrix of all matter. - Max Planck, "father" of quantum

There is something "out there." Just beyond our perceptions of the everyday world there’s a presence, or force, that’s at once both mysterious and comforting.

We talk about it. We feel it. We believe in it and pray to it, perhaps without even understanding precisely what it is! A series of groundbreaking experiments in the last decade of the Twentieth Century unveil dramatic and undeniable evidence of a previously unrecognized form of energy, a Divine Matrix, that appears to link each member of our global family, creation, and the events of our lives in unexpected and empowering ways. From the success and failure of our careers and relationships, to family health and the peace of our world, these studies add to a growing body of evidence suggesting that we may actively participate in the outcome of the personal, as well as global, events of our lives. Reported by leading research institutions of our day, the experiments shake the foundation of traditional science, documenting that:

* All of creation is bathed and connected through a field of subtle energy.

* We "speak" directly to this field through emotion, beliefs, and prayer.

* Through this field we are part of the healing in our bodies, and the peace in our

families, communities and nations.

Calling it by names that vary from the Web of Creation to the Spirit of God, ancient traditions knew this presence exists. They also knew how to apply it in their lives.

In the words of their time, they left detailed instructions to the people of their future describing how we may use this invisible force to heal our bodies and relationships, and bring peace to our world; they are all part of the same force. Today we know the language connects all three as a "lost" mode of prayer.

Unlike the traditional prayers that we may have used in the past, however, this technique of prayer has no words. It is based in the silent language of human emotion. It invites us to feel gratitude and appreciation, as if our prayers have already been answered. Through this quality of feeling, the ancients believed that we are given direct access to the power of creation: the Spirit of God.

In the 20th century, modern science may have rediscovered the spirit of God as a field of energy that is different from any other form of energy. It appears to be everywhere, always, and to have existed since the beginning of time. Just as the ancients suggested, the Field responds to human emotion!

Regardless of what we call it or how science and religion define it, it is clear that there is something out there—a force, a field, a presence—that is the "great magnet" constantly pulling us toward one another and connecting us to a higher power. Knowing that this force exists, it makes tremendous sense that we would be able to communicate with it in a way that is meaningful and useful in our lives. Ultimately, we may discover that the same power that heals our deepest hurts and creates peace between nations holds the key to our survival as a species.

Experiencing Peace

Experiencing Peace

by Michaela Scherr
michaelascherr.com

Peace can mean quiet, tranquility, serenity, peace of mind, mental calmness, friendliness, no wars, civil disorders or strife. Sometimes a word makes sense and other times there is no reference for it. Do you have a reference for peace?

From my own experience I had no reference for the word ‘happy’. Logically I knew what it was supposed to mean, however I couldn’t relate to it. On the other hand I knew and experienced what ‘contentment’ and ‘joy’ was, but with ‘happy’ – sadly I had no reference point.

The word ‘happy’ had to be demonstrated to me in order for it to have any meaning. ‘Happy’ was demonstrated to me by a male facilitator on a course I was on a couple of years ago. He started an impromptu and very silly dance which had me laughing for a long time afterwards. The memory of it still gets me smiling and gives me a ‘happy’ feeling which I fully experience throughout my body.

With that in mind whenever I step into peace I totally experience it through every cell in my body. How do I know that is what I’m experiencing? I feel it and link the word 'peace' to that feeling.

Photobucket

Ask yourself a few questions first

Does the word ‘peace’ mean anything to you? If so, what does it mean?

As you ask yourself this question, do you notice any sensations or feelings in parts of your body? Do you have a sense of colours, sounds, visual images, tastes or even smells? These are links to the word ‘peace’. If the links are subtle you can increase them, if they are too full on you can decrease them.

If the word ‘peace’ doesn’t mean anything, link to a word that you can relate to that means much the same. For example, it would be a word that describes how you’d be feeling if you were gently floating through the air with no concerns or fears, and you were safe and comfortable, and experiencing a deep sense of quiet.

Before starting the following exercise, practice with a few words such as peace, serenity, calm, friendliness, accepting etc and notice what you notice. Also choose a time where the distractions will be minimal to nil for you to practice. The more you do the exercise the better you’ll become at accessing this state whenever you want and wherever you are regardless of what is happening around you.

Exercise

Sit quietly – breathing comfortably and deeply – settled and safe in the space you find yourself, and give yourself permission to be fully present, now, here, just you and the sound of your inward and outward breath – closing your eyes gradually and continuing to breathe in gentle rhythm.

Fully experience stillness, there is you and only you.

Imagine yourself now in the centre of your universe, fully supported, floating within this centre. As you do this imagine what it would feel like if you were sitting or lying on a light, feathery cloud.

Breathe in this experience and allow the sensation to expand through every cell within your body.

Allow all attachments to the physical world to fall away and dissolve, melt down for now, as you continue discovering your source, the very heart of you – attachments like tentacles falling away now as you let go of any fear.

Suspended within your universe – move your awareness around you – there are many wonderful things life has to offer – this is the place where you can see, feel, hear and know that without prejudice.

Locating your heart and the warm light that shines from it, notice how it radiates out from you in all directions, reaching and permeating through all time and beyond.

Breathe in deeply knowing this light radiates from within your being.

Notice a jelly-like substance that protects you from being impacted from the thoughts of others, words that could potentially hurt now begin to bounce and fall away because you're now becoming thick-skinned - only universal and unconditional love reaches you here.

You can access and experience this place of inner peace anytime you want to, simply practice quieting your mind, breathing gently and allow the sensation what you know peace to be, expand within you.

Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love

By Owen Waters
trans4mind.com

The purpose of being human, as we shift into the New Reality, is to learn about heart-centered consciousness.

The universe is, by its very design, filled with the love of the Original Creator. Universal love is the aspect of Original Consciousness which holds Creation together. In the Original Creation, Infinite Being divided its consciousness into two complementary aspects - thought and feeling - and then set them into motion.

The love of the Original Creator forms the very fabric of space. No material thing and no part of "empty" space is devoid of that love. Universal love is literally everywhere. However, the human condition is only affected by this love when it is channeled into the human realm through its use by humans.

We are here on Earth to learn how to translate universal love into human form.

Once universal love has been transformed through the consciousness of any individual human being, it enters the global mind atmosphere of Earth. We all share constant access to this global mind. While we initiate thoughts and feelings on our own, we also receive thoughts and feelings from the global mind. We sometimes alter these by our own thought, sometimes not, and then pass them back into the global mind. In an unconscious way, but not consciously, people are fully telepathic as they receive and transmit thoughts and feelings from and to the global mind atmosphere.

When a person experiences heart-centered consciousness, they radiate a type of consciousness which is very different to basic emotion. Heart-centered consciousness is a state of unconditional love. It is not a product of emotional like or dislike. Once started, nothing in physical reality affects the flow of unconditional love. It is something that just is, regardless of the circumstances.

Unconditional love is something that flows through your heart when you reach up above day-to-day consciousness, then open your heart and just allow it. This heart-centered consciousness always sees the elegant solution to the sorrows that can arise from basic human emotions.

Unconditional love allows, accepts and supports. It is not something you try to do. It just flows when you allow it to enter your heart and take your consciousness above the cares of daily reality and into an expanded vista of awareness.

Each time you radiate unconditional love into the global mind atmosphere, you upgrade the entire human experience, taking humanity yet one more step into the unfolding New Reality.

Cultivating Peace, Contentment and Joy in Your Life

Cultivating Peace, Contentment and Joy in Your Life

by Kathleen Bren
soulfulgirls.com

Serenity, peace and harmony reside within you. Nothing external to you is required to craft a peaceful life as much as it requires a shift in your internal thought process. Many of us live in some moment other than the present. We wallow in guilt, remorse and regret over past events or situations we wish had turned out differently. Or we spend a great deal of time attempting to control future unknowns through the process of worry.

Below are three powerful ways of cultivating a life filled with peace, accompanied by a deep-seated feeling of contentment and joy. Whenever you find yourself feeling uneasy, anxious or fearful, simply pinpoint the area of your life that is in need of tweaking, and apply one or more of the steps below.

1. Make peace with the past

If you are unable to move forward with your life it is imperative that you find out what is holding you back? Are you accepting less of what life has to offer you because you are still paying for the mistakes of the past? Wrapping yourself in a shroud of guilt and shame is like putting yourself in prison with no chance of parole.

Consider this. If you feel like you are paying for prior errors in judgment by living a life of mediocrity, ask yourself the following questions: How long must you pay and who decides when the debt is paid in full? We often act as our own judge and jury, and rarely offer ourselves an opportunity for a reduced or commuted sentence. By making peace with the past, you become open to the gift of the present moment.

2. Make peace with the future

What percentage of the day do you spend thinking about the future, obsessing over what's to come, and panicking over a multitude of "what ifs"? Do you worry about the safety of your children, how much money you will have or what you will do when you retire?

Hypothetical possibilities are much different than present moment realities. The mind cannot deal with anything except what presents itself in this moment. Therefore worry, fear and anxiety have to do with what you imagine your life might be like next week, next month or next year, instead of enjoying what IS happening right now. Most of our fears never come to fruition.

By placing the future in the hands of God you release yourself from the mental imprisonment of depression, desperation, anxiety, and fear. Who can suffer when all worries and cares are placed in the loving hands of God, and the mind rests assured that only good can come its way.

3. Make peace with yourself

Complete and total acceptance of oneself requires compassion, understanding, and a willingness to let go of impossible standards. Our collective journey through life is complex and multidimensiona
l. Not everyone can live up to our standards or us theirs. No matter how much you wish you would have excelled in math as a child, certain limitations are part and parcel of the human experience.

It is essential that you offer yourself a great deal of latitude as you travel through life. Beating yourself up does not provide lasting motivation nor does it pave the way for positive change to manifest. It only leads to feelings of frustration, disappointment and doubt.

Affirm yourself regularly and become your biggest fan. Do what you can today and let that be enough. No matter where you are on your journey, be kind to yourself. Love yourself today as much as you would if you won an Oscar or lost twenty pounds. Don't wait for some future moment in time before you acknowledge the divinity of God within. You are perfect just as you are. Make peace with yourself today.

A Thankful Heart Is the Way to Happiness

A Thankful Heart Is the Way to Happiness

by Masaru Emoto
masaru-emoto.net

Why do people go through life looking for happiness? Dogs and cats look for food and comfort, but they certainly don't go to all the trouble that people do in their continual search for happiness. I suppose the reason is that we are the only ones who can align ourselves with the hado of happiness.

Many years ago, I had a discussion with Dr. Ravi Batra, a well-known international economist, and he said something that has stuck with me:

Why do you think people continually search for happiness? The reason is because we people have a link to unlimited existence. But many of us make a serious mistake. We set up conditions for happiness based on riches and fame, momentary pleasures, and things that are limited and always changing.

There are those who are rich beyond most of our imaginations, and yet they continue to want more as they strive in vain to find happiness. The reason it's in vain is because they are looking to find unlimited happiness in limited money and riches.

Unless we can become one with the unlimited existence, we will never find true happiness. This requires that we raise our consciousness.

All that can be seen with the human eye is of this limited world. Sooner or later, the material trappings will end, and as long as that is how we define happiness, our hearts will always feel hollow.

Of course I understand that casting aside all desire is not possible or even advisable. In fact, desire is not what's preventing us from finding happiness. An appropriate amount of desire is needed to make people strive for something better, and it's what made it possible for human society to rise to its current level. The problem arises when we become slaves to our desires. Our modern society operates on the ability to stir up desire in the masses
.

It's no easy task to find happiness in a society established on insatiable desire. So what is it that we need to do to escape never-ending desire and find happiness? The answer is to have a thankful heart.

More than ever, we live in a time when love and appreciation is truly needed. And I think the right ratio for appreciation and love is 2:1 -- the exact ratio of hydrogen to oxygen in the H2O molecule!

We have seen where words of appreciation and love result in crystals of indescribable beauty. There are no conditions needed for appreciation. We can be thankful for life and for our freedom to move about.

When you align your soul with the hado of appreciation and love, a small drop of happiness will seep into your heart and spread throughout your body. This will link you to the vibration of happiness, and happiness will become a part of your daily life. And this is the secret for finding happiness right now wherever you are.

Being You *~* Who are you?

Photobucket

Being You

by David Nelmes
beingwilling.com

Who are you?

Close your eyes and open your mind and say, "Who am I?".

Do you have thoughts of yourself as a wonderfully bright light so precious and peaceful and so very loved by God? Do you have thoughts of being totally accepted, having complete confidence and the knowledge of God's blessings in everything you do? Do you have thoughts of no condemnation, purity in spirit and freedom from all forms of bondage?

If not, then you don't know who you are.

You can also ask, "What do people see when they look at me?". If they don't see the same thing, they aren't seeing you for who you really are either. Even when you look at others, are you seeing them for who they really are?

Whether you accept it or not, believe it or not, practice it or not or acknowledge it or not, you are a creation of God; a spiritual being. God didn't create you out of thin air. He took a part of himself and made it into you. That's how he can call us his Sons; his children. We are his offspring in every true sense of the word.

You are not a body. Your body is an important instrument of your spirit; a vehicle, but it is not who you are. Are you disabled or ill? Your body or brain may be disabled or ill, but it is not who you are. It's not possible for your spirit to be disabled or ill. Are you hungry, or tired or depressed or mad? Your spirit can be none of these and therefore those feelings don't reflect who you really are.

It can be difficult to look at a beggar in the street and know that he is a beautiful spirit, just like you, with all the love and peace of God at his disposal. It can be even harder to imagine a mass murderer as a child of God as well, but they both are. We all are. What our bodies look like and the things we often do, have no reflection to what is really inside us and does not reflect often enough as to who we really are.

OK, I know this sounds way out there, but reflect on those thoughts for a moment and let them sink in. God created us in his image, but God does not have a body. God is a spiritual being, as are we, as are you. Your body is just the means by which you can serve God. There is no other purpose for it. It's just a physical manifestation that represents you, but everything physical eventually dies and ceases to exist. Your brain may be the most complicated electrochemical computer ever designed, but it's not who you are, because it dies. You never die because spirits don't die.

Photobucket

Let's go further now. We are also all part of the same spirit. Your body has fingers, hair, kidneys, skin, etc. and they are all part of the same body. No single one of them is the body, but the body is also not complete without them. Likewise, we are all part of the spirit of God. Each of us has our own distinctive purpose and each of us is a vital part of the spirit of God. How well or poorly any one of us does, has impact on all others because we are all of the same spiritual body.

Who am I? I am a Son of God. I am an instrument of Gods will. I am an eternal spiritual being that exists in this physical form but for a split second of my existence. I am a teacher and a student of Gods truths. I am Christ's little brother. I am my Fathers son.

In this world, this reality that our bodies exist in, we need not allow ourselves to feel restricted or held back by its inherent limitations. Nothing is impossible to God and his children. Don't worry about yesterday. Don't concern yourself about tomorrow. Today, today and this moment is the only thing that really exists. Your brain can conjure all kinds of scenarios about your future or dwell relentlessly upon your past, but it can't do anything about them, so why waste your time dwelling there? Focus on now, this moment. Who are you? What would you allow God to do with your life? What is too big for God to handle or figure out? What portion of your future can't he handle? Which of your needs is he unaware of?

When you finally accept the truth that you have no control over your future, then you can give its control back to God, where it belongs. Then you can expect to see God moving in your life. You need to realize that no amount of planning, scheduling or preparation for your future has anything to do with your true happiness and Gods will for your life. Let it all go. All of it. Only then is a happy and blessed future ensured. Only then are you freeing God to help you, bless you, freely talk to you and be one with you.

Effect of Going to Sleep with Feet Facing West

Effect of Going to Sleep with Feet Facing West

A Spiritual Perspective

by Sean M. Clarke
spiritualresearchfoundation.org

Spiritual research into how to sleep well

This article, based on the spiritual research conducted by the Spiritual Science Reserarch Foundation (SSRF), explains the effect of sleeping with our feet facing the West direction entirely from the spiritual perspective. It will also help us take an educated decision on how to sleep
well from the perspective of the direction of our feet when we sleep. To understand this article we need to know that there are many different types of frequencies in the Universe which modern sciences have yet to discover and which are known to the ancient Vedic masters from times immemorial. Please read this article with this perspective.

Spiritual effect of sleeping with the feet facing West

Benefit of frequencies of Action of God

The frequencies of Action of God are aligned in the East-West direction. Their movement is in the space between these two directions. By sleeping with our feet facing West, we get higher benefit of these frequencies of Action of God. They give us strength to perform our actions.

Activation of the five vital energies in the body

Due to the transfer of the frequencies of Action in the body, the five vital energies situated at the level of the navel are activated. These five vital energies throw out the subtle excretory gases from the body through the medium of the sub-vital energies. This helps in the purification of the vital energy body and the sheath of the vital energy body and makes the person invigorated.

Benefit of the saattvik frequencies

At dawn saattvik (most pure) frequencies (apart from the above) are transmitted from the East direction. These saattvik frequencies from the atmosphere enter our body easily from the brahmarandhra (the opening above the 7th Kundalini chakra; the crown chakra) of the Kundalini system when we are sleeping with our feet facing West because then our head faces East. By imbibing these saattvik frequencies we too become saattvik. Thus we begin the day with higher saattviktaa (Divine frequencies of knowledge and purity).

Clockwise motion of body cycle

Apart from frequencies of Action (kriyaalahari) of God and the saattvik frequencies at dawn, the pleasant saptatarang (lit. seven-ripple) type of frequencies come from the East direction. When we sleep with our head towards East, we derive maximum benefit from these saptatarang frequencies. Due to their influence our body cycle moves in the clockwise, i.e. desired direction. As a result all body functions are optimised. Body cycle is the subtle intangible system of all gross and subtle body functions.

Relief from sleep associated raja (activity and passion) –
tama (ignorance and inertia) particles

When we sleep with our feet facing West, as our head is in the Eastward direction, 10% more saptatarang frequencies are imbibed by the seven Kundalini chakras. As the chakras influenced by the saptatarang frequencies move in the clockwise direction, the person gets benefit at a spiritual level. Hence he does not experience distress from the subtle basic raja-tama particles generated in the body due to the sleeping state. Thus he sleeps well.

In summary

From the above explanation we can see that from the perspective of how to sleep well, the East-West direction with the feet facing West is the best direction to sleep in.

STICKS AND STONES

STICKS AND STONES

By Marla Mitchell
marlamitchell.com

There’s an old proverb, “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” We all remember hearing it as children and we may have even said it a time or two when someone was being mean to us but, did it make us feel any better or stop the person from berating us again? Usually not, plus acting hurt or offended only made the situation worse. That would just lead to more insulting names with the suggestion to “… grow a thicker skin.” How helpful is that? I’m betting that most of us were teased or humiliated a time or two during childhood which means, we all know what it feels like to be on the receiving end. That being the case, why then as adults do we still treat each other that way? Why do we feel the need to judge, make inappropriate comments and gossip about each other? What purpose does it serve?

As I stated earlier, somewhere along the way, we had it done to us first and so this negative behavior was learned. The ego doesn’t know how to nurture or take care of itself when it is detached from Spirit. The ego only knows what it learned in childhood and so it reacts with anger and hurt in order to feel superior, gain control, and feel less vulnerable. Whatever the reason, what most people fail to realize is that when we choose to act in such a way... we’re hurting ourselves even more. When we ignore Spirit and choose to feed the ego by gossiping, judging, or being spiteful, we are re-opening and deepening the pain of our past wounds. Ever hear the phrase, “What goes around comes around”?

So, how can we change our behavior and heal our past at the same time? We do this by choosing to work on ourselves first. To begin with, we need to be more aware of our own thoughts and feelings.
You have to feel it to heal it!

We need to acknowledge that we have pain and hurt inside and “feel it” without getting lost in it or identifying with it. If we identify with it, we become the victim all over again. Not only is that not healthy, it’s detrimental to our Spiritual health. The role of a victim represents “weakness” and when the ego feels weak, it’s compelled to feel superior again. The only way the ego can feel superior again is to “hurt and humiliate” someone else. Do you see the cycle and how it perpetuates even more pain and guilt?

If we want to break the cycle, we have to start being responsible for our own thoughts and actions first. That means practicing self-discipline in everything we do (mindfulness). We need to make conscious choices every moment of every day and do what is best for ourselves by putting Spirit first and ego second. In order to do this, we need to “live more in the moment” and “think before we speak.” It means we have an obligation to ourselves to choose whether or not to participate in gossip, negative language or criticism, by practicing mindfulness. Along with this awareness, we should also include the practice of exercising healthy boundaries with overly negative people. Remember, we teach others how to treat us by our own behavior and choices.

“We must be the change we wish to see.”

Mahatma Gandhi

It’s not about keeping score or the other person’s failure to listen to Spirit; that’s their lesson and their consequence. You can’t learn it for them, nor should you try to rescue or feel sorry for them. When they are ready, willing, and able to heal, they will do the work for themselves. What matters most is…. that “you” practice mindfulness and that “you” choose to take the high road by doing what is best for you and your soul! As for that old childhood proverb… here’s a newer more appropriate rendition:

“Sticks and stones may break our bones but words will break our hearts.”

"Angels in the Alley"

"Angels in the Alley"

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked "God" to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it, however, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for "God's" protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley, just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

Moral of the story...
Don't underestimate the power of Prayer

A Spiritual Being ~ Who You Really Are

Photobucket

A Spiritual Being ~ Who You Really Are

by Terry Swejkoski
articlesbase.com

We are all multi-dimensional spiritual beings currently having a human experience. It's the personality (ego) that holds us back from being our true self. Each of us is here to fulfill a particular mission based upon a remarkable master plan. Whether we believe that or not depends on the level of control we allow our personality to have over the actual mission we planned before being born. Yes, we made agreements with Source to come here and do our part to move this planet forward in evolution long before our actual human birth date.

If you find it difficult to wrap your arms around the possibility that your perspective of life on Earth is anything more that what you can digest with the five senses it may be worth opening up to a new understanding. It certainly won't hurt you to try something new, but I guarantee it will open your eyes to a new way of thinking about life as you know it today.

So step out of your comfort zone and just assume what is being stated here are facts that you are simply not aware of right now. You've been kept in the dark for too long and it's time for you to consider moving forward with your life. The agreement you made is best known as the birth plan or life plan by those living life at that higher level of awareness. This is accomplished through staying in constant contact with Source energy. Once you learn how to do this on a daily basis, everything you need to live a balanced life, in harmony with Source energy, and personality happiness will show up as if by magic.

The Earth is no longer a three dimensional planet...it has progressed into the fourth dimension or the higher awareness of Spiritual energy. This is totally obvious to those human-beings vibrating at a higher frequency than most of humanity. The interesting part is the personality does not want you to be aware of this well keep secret. That secret is held within the mind and is only released when the higher-self (true self) is alerted through our emotions. Our emotions are the triggers that are pre-programmed in our DNA to alert us when we are out of alignment with our higher purpose for being here.

Those that have learned through meditation, prayer or daily conversations with Source energy, how to consciously stay connected with their own Life Plan live a life filled with abundance. This is true for every category of Human Life, including Physical Health, Career, Financial Freedom, Family Relationship, Emotional Well Being, Spiritual Life, Happiness and Soul Merge. By staying connected in this way, it becomes easy to stay calm and emit peaceful a higher energy vibration during times of uncertainty or life-situation challenges.

When you learn to stay peaceful in challenging situations solutions show up rather than additional problems. This is true in every aspect of life. Whether it's business or personal you will reach higher levels of achievement in less time than if you allowed personality (ego) to manipulate your particular situation.

You deserve a happier life...so start changing your perspective now - you'll be glad you did.
